Celeste Summer Class Schedule

Update from Celeste fitness classes

Happy Summer everyone :) Before we all get too dispersed and over-booked for summer events, I wanted to let everyone know that  I am having classes over the summer here in Bible Hill :)

We will be continuing our Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning ZUMBA classes from 8:50am-9:50pm.  For the summer months, July and August, our regular spot at the Bible Hill Fire Hall is not available as they are booked for day camps, keeping our kids active and healthy : ) Starting Monday June 30th, our  summer time location  is changed to the Horseman's Club, just off of Ryland Ave. on the N.S. Provincial Ex. Grounds. The hall is also great and nice and cool :  ) The one month unlimited class fee is $50/month. Or you can still opt out for a punch pass for$60/10 classes or a drop in is $7/class.

YOGA classes outside for the summer :) at one of the Bible Hill green spaces, located on Clover Drive, a lovely, private outdoor setting with areas of shade and sun.  Classes will be on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 and will be running for 8 weeks starting July 02. The cost for the 8 weeks will be $30/8 weeks.

Please check and mark your calendars and come when you can, if you have any questions or need directions to either of these new locations, please let me know . I look forward to seeing you all , but if not , have a great summer and see you in the Fall.

Pickleball Update

Due to the overwhelming success of the series, organizers will be hosting five fun nights of pickleball in late May and throughout the month of June at Douglas Street Recreation Centre, 40 Douglas St.

The sessions will be held on Tuesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. and are free of charge. However donations would be appreciated to help purchase additional equipment and to assist with related start-up costs for this new-to-the-region sport.

Paddles and balls will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Newcomers are always welcome.

We will have three nets set up, meaning 12 people will be able to play at a time. Depending on the crowd, some waiting may be involved. There is no need to register for these drop-in events.

However, as we move forward, we would like to get your input regarding days of the week and times of the day you would prefer to play pickleball. You can respond to this email with your preferences.

We hope to see you all out on the first night, Tuesday, May 27, from 7 to 9 pm.
