Yoga and Zumba

YogaZumbaIt's back to fun and fitness at the Bible Hill Village Hall with something for everyone!            

Zumba is back starting on Wednesday, September 9th every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Our  ever popular Zumba class Monday Wednesdays and Fridays are sure to start your day off on the right foot with one hour of Zumba party dance fun and fitness..... guaranteed laughs and friendship...All ages and Zumba experience welcomed. You can purchase a day pass, a 10 class punch card or chose a one month unlimited Zumba option.

Yoga Classes will resume this Fall with our very popular Yoga in the Park at the Clover Drive Park (Friday mornings at 10:30am), continuing until September 18th.    Our nurturing yoga practices welcome all yogis, beginner to experienced.  You will be greeted with opened arms and hearts and encouraged to practice at your own pace in these all inclusive yoga classes. Our Thursday Evening Yoga Practice at 5 pm will begin September 10th and will run this season for a 12 week session from September 10th to December 3rd. (no class on September 24th).  Our Friday Morning practice at 10:00 am will begin on October 2nd and will also run for 12 weeks this season, from October 2nd to December 18th.       Please PRE-REGISTER for all YOGA classes prior to start dates  to ensure minimum requirement by contacting Celeste at 902-814-8000 , 902-662-3009 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Monster's University - August 18th

Where:   Bible Hill Village Hall

When:    Tuesday, August 18, 2015

Time:     6:30-7:30pm

Based on Pixar's film "Monster's University".  Feel free to come dressed up as a monster!  There will be crafts, games, and "the School of Scaring".  Come on out and join the fun.

Community Data Coordinator Job Posting

The Town of Truro is currently accepting applications for a contract term position of Community Data Coordinator

The position of Community Data Coordinator reports to the Fundy Recreation Practitioners Association (FRPA) and is a one year term position, effective September 2015. The FRPA is currently seeking a Data Coordinator to work as part of their Web portal Development initiative, Fundy Connect. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for working with the FRPA members in the collection, verification and entry of data relating to the Active Living in the Fundy Region. The successful applicant must be able to travel throughout the Fundy Region (Cumberland County, Colchester County, East Hants)
