Canada Day 2023

The annual Canada Day street parade and celebrations in Bible Hill is back. This year's parade will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 1.

Parade Date and Time
The parade will take place on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 and will be leaving St David’s Ave at 10:00 AM. All entries must be lined up by 9:15 AM.

Parade Route
The parade will leave St David’s Avenue and turn left to go up Pictou Road. Parade will take a right on Johnson Avenue and then a right to head down College Road, past the Bible Hill Recreation Park, and take a right on to Vimy Road, another right to head up Pictou Road, and then a last left to head down the left side of St. David’s Avenue.

Park Celebrations
The party doesn't stop when the parade ends! Following the parade, you are welcome to join us at the Bible Hill Recreation Park for a park partyentertainment, food, fun and music the whole family will enjoy, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM!

Following the parade, you are welcome to join us at the Bible Hill Recreation Park for a park party!

StoneHouse will be performing LIVE at the Bible Hill Recreation Park from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Gordon Tucker will be there as our Master of Ceremonies and performing as well!

While soaking in the sun and great music, there will be fun for the WHOLE family to enjoy:

- Inflatables with Glow The Event Store
- Axe throwing with HaliMac Axe Throwing
- Pony rides with Shelby Ranch
- Foam party with Foam Fiesta
- Face painting with Five Little Monkeys Entertainment

With all that fun, comes great hunger.. It's a good thing there will be food and treats available for purchase! Bible Hill Fire will be there BBQ'ing, 902 Proud Ice Cream Cakes will be there serving up slices, Scotia Pool will be there with drinks to quench your thirst, and Sticks and Stone Woodfired Pizza and Catering will be there slinging pizzas!

After your afternoon of fun, the party doesn't stop in Bible Hill! Head on over to Downtown Truro's Civic Square for their Canada Day celebrations and concert!
