Notice of Intent to Consider Revision of the By-laws of Village of Bible Hill

The Commission of Village of Bible Hill hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 168 (2) of the Municipal Government Act, of its intent to consider revision of the By-laws of Village of Bible Hill.

The object of the revision of the By-laws of Village of Bible Hill is to change the date of the Annual Meeting of Electors from the first Monday of June to the second Tuesday of June and, consequently, the dates of the Nomination Period, Advance Poll, and Election Day for nominating and electing Village Commissioner(s).

The revisions to the By-laws of Village of Bible Hill will be read for a second time and considered by the Commission of Village of Bible Hill at a meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 7pm in Commission Chambers at the Village Office, 67 Pictou Road, Bible Hill.

A copy of the draft set of by-laws may be inspected at the Village Office (address above) or at www.biblehill.ca/draftby-laws
