Employment Opportunity-Before & After School Program Leader
Village of Bible Hill is looking to hire Before and After School Program Leaders for the 2024-2025 school year.
This position will deliver fun, interactive programming at Bible Hill Consolidated. We are looking for a reliable, passionate, energetic, mature, and responsible leader with an interest in developing leadership skills to lead our programs. Satisfactory criminal record, vulnerable sector, and child abuse registry checks are a non-negotiable condition of employment.
The programs will be physical activity-focused, with elements of play, self-leadership, and teamwork. Most programs will be based on outdoor play, games, skill building, and nature awareness activities, and will take place directly after school multiple days per week.
Hours and wage: This position will work a flexible schedule, as needed, within the hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, throughout the school year, following the CCRCE school calendar. There is an opportunity for additional hours with holiday and other programming, if requested by the Parks and Recreation Director. The wage is $20 per hour.

Inservice Camp - October 25, 2024
Inservice Day Camp will be offered for children ages 5-12 on October from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (at the latest) at CCA School, located at 66 East Court Road, Bible Hill.
The cost is $25 per child. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and payment is required for your registration to be confirmed.

Pumpkin Carving Night
🎃 Join Us for a Pumpkin Carving Night! 🎃

Cost: FREE
Calling all pumpkin carvers! We need you to carve pumpkins for us! Come unleash your creativity and help us carve some spooky and fun pumpkins, to be used for our upcoming Pumpkin Trail Walk! **Pumpkins cannot be taken home the night of carving**
The pumpkins carved that night will light the way, the following night, during our festive Pumpkin Trail Walk at Meadowland Avenue Park.
Whether you're a pumpkin carving pro or a first-timer, all skill levels are welcome! We'll provide the pumpkins, carving tools, and plenty of inspiration. This is a family-friendly event, so bring your friends, kids, and neighbors for a fun and festive evening. Feel free to wear a costume!
We can't wait to see what you create—come carve with us! 🍂🎃
Note: All pumpkins carved at the event will be part of the Pumpkin Trail display. If you would like to keep your pumpkin, please let us know and you can pick it up the Monday after the event!

Halloween Craft Night
Join Us for Halloween Craft Night! 🎃🖌️
Get into the spooky spirit with our Halloween Kids Craft Night the H. Douglas Boyce Village Hall, on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:00 PM with Carla’s Upcycled Creations ! Please note: Grown-ups must stay with the child during this event.
Choose from two spook-tacular craft options: please let us know in advance which one you are choosing.
(A) Three coffin-style Halloween pieces 🕸️⚰️
(B) A wooden cat, pumpkin, and ghost 🎃🐱👻

Pumpkin Trail Walk
Join us Saturday, October 26, for a magical evening stroll through the glowing Pumpkin Trail Walk at 52 Meadowland Avenue! ✨
On the Friday night before the walk, community members are invited (registration required) to carve pumpkins, and it will be their creations that light the way for this spooktacular event. With a path lined by glowing jack-o'-lanterns, it's the perfect fall experience for all ages!
